It&amp;#39;s absolutely true, though.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I think private-insurance will--and should--always be available to those that want to pay extra to have a lower deductible, faster procedures, etc. But I agree we need some form of single-payer system. Managing it at a local level is a good idea, but tricky--is it being funded at a local level too? Are there certain federal regulations? Could a state ban abortions being formed in their single-payer? Though if we were actually asking these questions, that means we&amp;#39;ve made significant progress already.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/30664813/8025293975602242586/comments/default/8527618155972725753'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/30664813/8025293975602242586/comments/default/8527618155972725753'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.jonblogden.com/2011/11/single-payer-system-with-high.html?showComment=1322487970814#c8527618155972725753' title=''/><author><name>Dallin and Janelle Lewis</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/02994940516686298309</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.jonblogden.com/2011/11/single-payer-system-with-high.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30664813.post-8025293975602242586' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/30664813/posts/default/8025293975602242586' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-260734990'/></entry></feed>
